RSCM Festival Service at Gloucester Cathedral

Saturday 5 October

The music this year reflected the Golden Jubilee of Her Majesty the Queen, in four aspects of the Coronation; The Recognition, The Presentation of the Bible, The Anointing and the Crowning.

Following rehearsals on Tuesday evening and earlier on the Saturday, the Service took place at 5.30pm before a packed congregation. Over 350 choristers drawn from some 24 local church choirs sang along with the Cathedral choir under the direction and baton of Andrew Nethsingha.
